2019 TOURNAMENT SERIES
WNY ELITE POINTS SYSTEM

WNY ELITE OVERVIEW

This season we will crown four players as Western New York Elite.  The top 4 players at the end of the 2019 WNY Roundnet Tournament Series will be given Western New York Elite status.  As if the status alone wasn't enough, we've also got some great prizes courtesy of WNY Roundnet and our sponsors, including custom jerseys from Savage Ultimate Apparel, Spikeball gear, and free registration to all Western New York Roundnet events for a full year.

WNY ELITE REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible, you must compete in the Advanced division in our 2019 tournament series.  Players must live or be full time students in NY to be eligible.  At the end of the series, an individual's score is determined by their top 3 finishes, plus any bonus points they may accrue.

For tournaments with players from out of state, the top NY team will get points associated for 1st place and it will count down from there, but will not skip further non-NY teams.  Example: Top NY team finishes in 3rd place = 175 points; the next NY team finishes in 5th place = 100 points; etc..  In this scenario, no team would receive 130 2nd place points.

Bonus points can also be obtained for playing with new partners, as well as playing on a co-ed/female team. For each tournament you play in with a new player, you will get 25 bonus points. Additionally, all teams with at least 1 female that reach the quarterfinals will receive 25 bonus points per tournament. These bonus points are added onto your top 3 finishes and are not tied to the tournament they were earned in.

Finally, for mixed teams with a NY and a non-NY player, the NY player will still be eligible to receive points based on their teams placement in accordance with the guidelines above.

*Ties will be decided based on individual results from the Championship tournament scheduled for September 28th.

**If two teammates are tied in points and play together in the Championship tournament, they will split the respective prizes.

***The East Roundnet Series points will follow a different structure.  Players trying for WNY Elite and East Roundnet Elite who play in the August 24th Buffalo tour stop will be awarded one set of points for WNY Elite and another set of points for East Roundnet elite.  For details on the East Roundnet Series point system, visit the East Roundnet Series website
